Power Greens Bowl With Tahini Dressing

Often times we hear people say, "I just don't have time to make my food.", well the fact of the matter is .... you do. Here at Moksha soul one of our goals is to help you find the time by providing healthy recipes that will have you eating in a healthier fashion and perhaps give you the tools to experiment a little on your own. 

Tahini is something I keep on hand in my kitchen. It's packed full of unsaturated fats aiding in lowering cholesterol, and regulating blood pressure. It's also said that it may reduce your chances of different types of cancer. The sesame seed paste also has iron, zinc, and niacin in it as well. All of which aid in keeping the body healthy from injury, fatigue, and maintaining healthy energy levels.  Tahini is great way for vegetarians to get these essential vitamins and minerals. It's also delicious! 

Ingredients:

*always try to source local and organic produce when available

  • Baby
  • spinach
  • cucumber
  • spicy sprouts
  • nut of choice as topping/garnish

Dressing ingredients: 

  • tahini
  • Lemon wedge
  • Garlic

*optional Salt/pepper **Add water for desired texture

Directions:   Start by grabbing desired greens. I've listed the ones above as that's what I had available. The dressing is really what makes this dish so throw what ever you'd like or sounds interesting in a bowl. You're doing great...

Dressing : If you're tahini is nice and creamy already you're off to a good start. If not, add a bit of water so you're able to stir easily. Combine all ingredients into a small bowl. Continue to add water if mixture gets tacky. Feel free to add more citrus for desired taste.
